In addition, the new Nissan Sentra has high beam assistance that switches the headlights on and off depending on traffic conditions. With driver alertness, drivers get alerts when they become drowsy. The vehicle has traffic sign detection for sensing road signs such as speed limits, adaptive cruising control to keep a safe distance with cars ahead, and forward collision alerts to slow down or speed up.
The new Nissan Sentra has an around-view monitor with three split screens to deliver a 360-degree view of the surrounding. The vehicle also has a high-strength impact-absorbing body structure for additional protection from accidents, tire pressure sensors to detect lessened pressure and inform drivers of when to refill the tires, and anti-lock braking to avoid wheel lockup.
Moreover, the new Nissan Sentra has eight airbags, including dual-stage and occupation-classification, and a LATCH system for securing children. The Sentra has a brake adjustment system that increases braking power and dynamic vehicle control for reduced engine output.
